To ensure our team can securely and efficiently process every device, we ask your IT department to complete the following steps. This prevents devices from being "bricked" by anti-theft and corporate management locks, allowing us to give them a second life.

💻 Windows Devices (Microsoft): Please disassociate all devices from your Microsoft 365 / Azure AD tenant. This critically includes:

Deregistering them from Microsoft Autopilot.

Removing them from Microsoft Intune (or other MDM).

🍎 Apple Devices (Mac, iPad): Please remove all devices from your Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Apple School Manager (ASM). This is the only way to release the Activation Lock and 'Find My' features.

🌐 Google Devices (Chromebooks): Please deprovision all Chromebooks from your Google Admin Console. A simple 'Powerwash' is not sufficient for enrolled devices, as they will automatically re-enroll.

🔒 All Laptops & Desktops (Firmware): Please ensure any BIOS/UEFI firmware passwords (Supervisor Passwords) are removed. If they cannot be removed, please provide them to our team. A device with an unknown firmware password cannot be booted from our wipe tools.

🔌 Laptop Chargers: Please include as many functional laptop chargers as possible with your donation.
